What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher URGENTLY HIRING position at Kid's Crossing Daycare?
$15.00 an hour - Kids Crossing is looking to a fulltime teacher in the preschool room. We are looking for someone who is excited to teach preschoolers and is willing to step in as a leader when needed. You will be working alongside other teachers assisting with meals, daily classroom cleaning, naps, etc. You will receive lots of cuddles and unconditional hugs from our little ones.

Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher
- Provide quality care to children
- Help lead teacher in implementing classroom curriculum
- Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
- Assist in providing meals, naps, and necessary care for preschoolers
- Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
- Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
- Assist in regular communication with parents and staff
Skills/Knowledge
- Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
- Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the infant stages
Applicant Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Have previous childcare experience (preferred)
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
- Have no felony convictions
- Willing to complete state required background checks
- Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
