What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Teacher position at Kid City USA Lake City?
Kid City USA is a structured early childhood program focused on consistency, classroom management, and age-appropriate learning.
This is not just a babysitting role. We are seeking a few professional early childhood teachers who can confidently manage classrooms.
Positions Opened:
Lead Two-year-old teacher 9am-6pm
Lead Three-year-old teacher 8am-5pm
Afternoon School-Aged teacher 12noon-6pm
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a structured daily schedule
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans
Guide behavior using positive redirection
Support potty training
Maintain clean and organized classrooms
Ensure safety and supervision
Communicate professionally with parents and other staff

Must Pass a Background Check prior to employment
Must have or be willing to get DCF hours within 90 days
Must be willing to get CPR certified
Must have patience
Must love children

90-day probation period before benefits start
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
