Duties:
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to school administration
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment
Requirements:
- DCF 45 hour training (required)
- CDA or FCCPC (required)
- VPK Endorsement Credentials (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to implement curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
