Purpose & Scope of The Position:
The Mine Maintenance Training Coordinator leads the development and execution of technical training programs that support safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance operations. This role exercises independent judgment in assessing workforce capability, designing training solutions, and aligning technician development with operational and regulatory requirements. The position partners with Mine Maintenance leadership to strengthen workforce competency, improve equipment performance, and reinforce a safety-driven culture consistent with KGHM values.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver structured technical training programs (classroom and field-based) for maintenance technicians.
- Assess workforce capability; identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
- Establish and maintain standardized training materials, competency frameworks, and documentation.
- Evaluate technician performance and provide formal recommendations impacting progression and development.
- Partner with leadership to align training with operational priorities, equipment reliability, and workforce planning.
- Ensure all training programs meet MSHA, State, and Company compliance requirements.
- Analyze training effectiveness and operational trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain training records and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of Robinson Nevada Mining Company and KGHM.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.

Experience:
- Experience in technical training, coaching, or workforce development.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and MSHA regulations.
- Proven ability to analyze needs, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:
- OEM certifications or advanced maintenance training.
- Experience developing structured training or progression programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training systems.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and training tracking systems.
- Ability to develop technical procedures and training materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel occasionally as needed.

Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to meet the required physical demands, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
