KG Strategic Consultants is a specialist firm focused on servicing nonprofits by providing full service grant, fundraising and consulting services. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our southern Florida region to spearhead growth, obtain new clients and maintain ongoing client relationships. This role is dual purposes and flexible, focused both on obtaining new clients for the company and then maintaining those relationships throughout our service periods.
The most successful applicant will have significant knowledge of potential referrals and networks within the south Florida area.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts to expand our client base
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure mutually beneficial deals
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility
- Manage sales pipelines using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Monday to track progress and forecast revenue
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and successful delivery of solutions
Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles within a competitive industry environment
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets through strategic planning and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM software, particularly Salesforce, along with other CRM tools for customer relationship management
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and how they integrate with sales strategies
- Experience in project management to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining focus on objectives
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry-specific trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape is highly desirable
Compensation scale is between $65,000 and $85,000 depending on skillset and experience. This may be expanded for the correct candidate. Healthcare is 50% split for medical, and 100% covered for vision and dental. 401K match, unlimited PTO. Successful sales receive a 10% commission in addition to salary.
