Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and coachable Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern to support our sales team. This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on developing foundational sales skills, generating new business opportunities, and contributing directly to pipeline growth.

This internship offers structured training, real-world sales experience, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced sales professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting, including:
  • Minimum 150 cold calls per week
  • Outreach via email and other communication channels
  • Generate at least 5 net-new qualified appointments per week
  • Build and maintain prospect lists through research and data sourcing
  • Perform ongoing CRM hygiene and database cleanup
  • Support the sales team with lead generation and pipeline development
  • Participate in sales training sessions and team meetings
  • Potentially run first-time discovery appointments as skills develop


Requirements

  • Strong interest in sales, business development, or entrepreneurship
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling
  • Highly organized with attention to detail (especially in CRM management)
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
  • Ability to take feedback and apply coaching quickly
  • Basic computer skills (CRM systems, email platforms, spreadsheets)
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in-person in a fast-paced sales environment


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required)

  • Previous internship or experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience with cold calling or lead generation
  • Team Bonding (Lunches & Company Events)
