Description
Kforce has a client in Quincy, MA that is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support to internal users in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and access issues
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
Troubleshoot and support A/V equipment in meeting rooms, including live meeting assistance
Support and resolve issues related to multifunction printers (MFPs), including print and scan functionality
Apply basic networking knowledge to resolve connectivity and peripheral issues
Independently diagnose issues using strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills
Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps accurately in the ticketing system
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Deliver professional, service-focused support with strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
A+ Certification
Microsoft 365 proficiency (must-have)
Experience supporting A/V systems and office technology
Experience supporting multifunction printers (MFPs)
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Strong communication and people skills with a work-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
