RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a IT Project Manager in Miami, FL.
Summary:
The primary responsibility of the team is to execute planning of large-scale IT operational fleet projects from inception through hand over to Deployment Team who will execute the deployment. You will be required to coordinate cross-team efforts, manage business and IT expectations, scope definition, scope management and documentation budget validation and procurement, design conversations and sign-off. You will communicate with senior management in the discussion and formal presentation format. The ability to define and drive project schedules, manage vendors, align the project goals with IT strategic technology and process goals is important to this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Project Management Methodologies
* MS Projects or similar tools
* Large complex project experience
* Problem solving
* Issue resolution
* Understanding of Enterprise Technologies and their application
* Good communication skills including but not limited to business presentations, and communicating to a large audience.
* HR skills include Team building, performance evaluations, coaching, performance and problem solving
* Able to lead by example within the IT Culture based environment
* PMP preferred but not required
* Previous shipboard experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
