This role works closely with HR, Finance, and management to support payroll-related activities and reporting. Responsibilities:

Position Summary: The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing and managing payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and management to support payroll-related activities and reporting. Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and year-end processing (W-2s, tax filings, etc.)
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Assist with payroll accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, payroll accruals, journal entries, and account analysis
- Partner with the Accounting team to ensure payroll-related transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
- Maintain payroll records and support process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- 3 years of payroll processing experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information
