Our Kforce client, located in Concord, (NH) is seeking a Senior Associate or Manager - Tax to join their growing firm with strong leadership, mentorship and a collaborative culture. In this role, you will support a variety of assurance and tax engagements. - Perform audit and accounting procedures (compliance testing, cash, AR, inventories, fixed assets, AP, accruals)
- Prepare tax returns and conduct basic tax research using relevant software
- Assist in preparing financial statements, applying basic GAAP principles
- Maintain accurate records of time and expenses for client billing
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
- Comply with CPE requirements (AICPA, State Board of Accountancy, Governmental Accounting Standards, Firm)
- Attend seminars or trade group events as requested
- Take on special projects or other duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA/CPA candidate
- 4 years of public accounting experience focusing on Tax
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Aptitude to learn and use multiple software applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of firm and client information
- Basic knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and tax compliance principles
- Familiarity with tax software and research methods
- Awareness of audit processes and developing audit skepticism
- Experience making constructive suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures
- General understanding of transactional flow and key transition cycles in accounting

Salary : $65,000 - $125,000
