Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting & Technical Acco

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting in the greater Boston, MA area for a hybrid role. Summary: A high-growth, publicly traded technology company at the forefront of the semiconductor and AI space is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its expanding finance team. This is a newly created role offering strong exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, and cross-functional finance initiatives. Why this role stands out:

Key Tasks

• Support preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), disclosures, and footnotes
• Perform tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and reporting quality controls
• Assist with XBRL and external reporting processes
• Research technical accounting issues and draft memos
• Support accounting for areas such as revenue recognition, equity, and other complex transactions
• Contribute to SOX compliance and audit support
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Accounting teams
• Help drive process improvements across reporting and close cycles

Requirements

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience (SEC clients preferred)
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
• CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
