You will be responsible for making sure that order workflow process is accurate before transmitting orders to the warehouse for fulfillment. Duties include:
- Entering customer orders into company software and/or EDI
- Interaction with customers regarding their orders via phone and email
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Follow-up on customer shipments and tracking customer orders
- Answering incoming phone calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls as required
- Obtaining truck quotes online or through brokers for LTL shipments
- Prepare shipments for customer orders or warehouse transfers via UPS, FEDEX, USPS or LTL (may include labeling, creating packing slips and bill of ladings)
- Assist other employees with administrative or clerical support
- 3 years of related experience
- Computer literate
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strong work ethic
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks
- Excel, Word, and Outlook required, Microsoft Access a plus
- Knowledge of EDI a plus
