- Responsible for setting up, tracking, forecasting, and reporting capital project AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) costs
- Recognize and alert Project Managers on cost issues and assist with developing AFE supplements if required
- Work with Project Managers and vendors to accurately forecast project cost on a monthly basis
- Take the lead on AFE preparation and submission to ensure budget, asset and expenditure information is correct
- Submit monthly accruals and work in progress comments to our Fixed Assets group
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (In order to convert with Marathon, candidates must be degreed)
- 4-10 years of experience in natural gas industry in an accounting, cost management, or contract's role
- Prior experience with Oracle and SAP a plus
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Access programs
