Project Controller

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Controller in Plano, TX. Duties Include:

• Act as the primary finance business partner to Project Managers on assigned projects
• Support project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance tracking
• Perform P&L analysis, variance analysis, and risk identification
• Manage and analyze project financial projections and estimates at completion
• Partner cross-functionally to address budget deviations and financial risks
• Support working capital management and contract financial reviews
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for project and leadership reviews
• Participate in regular project pacing and forecasting discussions
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support project decision-making

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant cross functional finance experience
• Experience partnering with operational or project-based teams
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience required
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a project-first, team-oriented environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in project-based environments
• Power BI or Tableau experience
• Finance Project Controller or project finance experience
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
