Summary: As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial data related to real estate development projects. Key Responsibilities:

Summary: As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial data related to real estate development projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing processes for real estate development projects, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and producing financial reports
- Monitor and manage project costs, including construction expenses, land acquisition costs, and development-related expenditures; Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations
- Work closely with vendors, reviewing and coding invoices, ensuring accuracy, and processing payments in a timely manner; Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies
- Consolidate internal and external financial ledgers, reconciling intercompany accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the entire organization
- Maintain and monitor project cash flows, ensuring adequate funding for development activities and identifying potential cash flow challenges
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of real estate development projects, assessing investment returns, profitability, and risk factors; Provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews, ensuring accurate and timely provision of financial data and documentation
- Handle various administrative tasks related to financial recordkeeping, document management, and other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and experience, with a focus on Real Estate Development
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific accounting principles
- Proficiency in Yardi
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
