Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer (Hybrid/Multi-Cloud) in New York, NY. Summary: We are seeking a high-caliber Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our digital ecosystem, consolidating global IT infrastructure, and automating mission-critical workloads. We leverage a sophisticated multi-cloud strategy-utilizing public and private environments-to support our diverse administrative, operational, and R&D business units. The Lead Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, deployment, and governance of our AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP) ecosystems. As a senior member of the Platform Operations team, you will act as a bridge between engineering and business stakeholders to identify and implement optimized, scalable cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Infrastructure Strategy: Execute the design and maintenance of a robust multi-cloud environment, ensuring high availability and performance across all platforms
- Automation & IaC: Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to build and deploy complex cloud applications, large-scale data solutions, and advanced analytics
- DevOps Leadership: Manage CI/CD platforms and code repositories, developing automated pipelines for seamless application delivery and promoting GitOps-driven declarative infrastructure
- Modernization: Implement and manage containerized solutions and microservices architecture utilizing Kubernetes and advanced orchestration tools
- Governance & Compliance: Enforce enterprise security policies, monitor for emerging threats, and ensure all cloud resources adhere to strict data privacy and corporate compliance standards
- Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including capacity planning, testing, and proactive system health monitoring
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Multi-Cloud Expertise: 7 years of experience implementing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, with deep knowledge of serverless computing and cloud-native services
- AWS Mastery: 6 years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture; Current AWS Professional-level certification (or higher) is required
- Azure & GCP Proficiency: 6 years of experience across Azure and GCP platforms; Current Associate-level certification (or higher) in both platforms is required
- Containerization: 4 years of experience in Kubernetes; Current CKA certification or equivalent is required
- Architectural Frameworks: Expert-level ability to apply "Well-Architected Framework" pillars across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- DevOps Tooling: Proven track record of building CI/CD pipelines and automating software releases in high-velocity production environments
- Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking and the ability to communicate technical strategy to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders

Salary : $170,000 - $175,000
