- Supporting recruitment and onboarding for faculty, staff, and student employees
- Coordinating new hire processes, employment documentation, and orientation
- Maintaining accurate employee records and processing personnel changes in the HRIS
- Partnering with payroll to ensure timely and accurate pay processing
- Serving as a trusted resource for HR policies, procedures, and general employee questions
- Assisting with benefits enrollment, leave administration, and compliance activities
- Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or similar) preferred or willingness to obtain
- 3 years of professional HR experience (higher education or similar environment preferred)
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom a plus)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
