HR Generalist

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Reading, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to various human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR practices and systems, ensuring efficient and effective support for the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, communication, and issue resolution.
• Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now or other HR payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update human resources information systems (HRIS) to ensure data integrity.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to implement HR initiatives and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across all HR activities.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes to identify and address areas for improvement.
• Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and related systems.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and enrollment processes.
• Ability to manage onboarding procedures efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
