Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking an Electronics Technician. Summary: The Electronics Technician will support the build, debug, and repair of electronic hardware in a lab/prototype environment while applying production focused methodology to improve repeatability, quality, and throughput. This role involves hands-on assembly, soldering, and electronics rework, along with use of test and measurement equipment to diagnose board level and component level issues and perform functional verification. The Electronics Technician will work closely with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot failures, document findings, and help establish clear processes (standard work, build documentation, and quality checks) that enable prototypes to scale smoothly toward pilot and production builds.

Requirements
- Technical experience in electronics manufacturing or production
- Demonstrated ability to bring production practices into a prototype environment (standard work, checklists, traceability, 5S/visual management and basic root cause/problem solving)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use this to interpret physical systems
- Soldering and rework skills (high density surface mount boards) experience with test measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies)
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting environments for test automation
- Strong attention to detail, reliable documentation practices, and clear communication
- Comfortable working independently within a close-knit team
- Formal in a trade (e.g. electronics technician) OR degree in Electronics or a related field
- IPC Soldering certifications
- CAD (electrical) experience (e.g. Altium designer, Cadence Allegro)
- Familiarity with quality frameworks (ISO 9000, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with MES or ERP systems
- Semiconductor experience
- Cryogenics or vacuum systems experience
- RF experience
