Kforce has a client that is seeking a CNC Programmer in Anaheim, CA. Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for manufacturing projects
- Convert engineering drawings, work orders, and design files into machine-ready programs
- Support CNC router and machining operations used in fabrication processes
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as they arise
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications before production
- Assist with process improvements and programming standardization efforts
- Maintain program documentation and production records
- Follow company quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Experience in CNC programming, CNC machining, or a related manufacturing role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- General understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Experience with Flexi software (sign industry experience highly preferred)
- Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software
- CNC machinists looking to transition into programming are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of G-Code programming
- Experience with 3-axis CNC machines and routers
- FANUC controls familiarity
