Kforce has a clilent in Boston, MA that is seeking an Associate Director - Financial Reporting. Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting processes, including monthly and year-end close activities
- Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors and support audit engagements
- Coordinate audit deliverables, timelines, and required documentation
- Oversee preparation and review of tax filings in coordination with external advisors
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance and regulatory filings
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and reporting procedures
- Identify process improvements and recommend efficiencies within reporting and tax functions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and operational teams
- Support risk identification and assist in strengthening control documentation
- Participate in financial, operational, and compliance audits as needed
- Leverage technology to improve reporting and compliance processes
- Assist with ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 7 years of relevant accounting, audit, or tax experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
