OVERVIEW: This is a true outside sales role for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, demonstrating equipment, and maintaining consistent IN-PERSON client touchpoints.

THIS POSITION OPERATES FULLY ONSITE IN THE BRIDGEPORT OFFICE WHEN NOT IN THE FIELD. THERE IS NO WORK - FROM - HOME OR REMOTE MODEL WHATSOEVER!!!

  • You prefer inside sales, account management, or phone, text, or email-based selling
  • You are uncomfortable conducting in-person client visits, demonstrations, or networking events on a consistent basis
  • You do not have experience generating new business relationships via in-person selling
  • You do not have a "hunter" mentality
  • You are not comfortable working onsite in Bridgeport, Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm when not in the field

MUST HAVE'S:

  • 3 years of outside B2B sales experience within a MANUFACTURING, INDUSTRIAL, OR EQUIPMENT-RELATED environment (including regularly meeting clients onsite, conducting demos, and managing sales cycles)
  • Ability to travel locally throughout Bridgeport, WV for client visits
  • Comfortable presenting products and conducting demonstrations
  • HUNTER MENTALITY!!!!
  • Must be comfortable working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm from the Bridgeport office when not in the field

COMPENSATION / COMMISSION: (THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE)

  • $60,000 base during ramp-up / transition period
  • Transition to $30,000 base $30,000 draw UNCAPPED commission
  • Top performers earn $150k

DUTIES:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers throughout Bridgeport territory
  • Conduct on-site client visits and equipment demonstrations
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect new accounts
  • Entertain and maintain IN-PERSON relationships with customers through events, lunches, and meetings
  • Coordinate sales activity and opportunities with internal support staff
  • Track opportunities and maintain CRM activity
  • Represent the company professionally within the local market
