Schedule: Monday – Friday - Full Time Daytime Hours (occasional evening / weekend hours)
Start Date Full Time - 12/2/25 thru 8/19/26
Start Date Part Time - 12/2/25 thru 5/29/26 or 12/9/25 thru 6/30/26
Monthly Pretax Living Allowance:
Full Time Monthly Living Allowance - $2,491.12
Part Time Monthly Living Allowance - $2,491.12
Education Award:
Depending on Term Length- Up to $5,175.50 Full Time or Up to $3,697.50 Part Time
- Additionally, federal loan forbearance (pause in loan payments) while serving in AmeriCorps
- Accrued interest while serving as an AmeriCorps member paid by AmeriCorps program
- Education Award earned when program is successfully completed
- If 55 years of age or older, education award can be transfer to child, grandchild, or foster child. Ed award is good for 10 years.

All members must participate in a one-day pre-service virtual training . Begin tutoring the next day at the school district.
AmeriCorps is a national service program in which during membership members also agree to participate in AmeriCorps activities in addition to host site placement responsibilities.
Activities are concentrated in the following areas:
- School Readiness & Success
- Mentoring Youth through Service
- Academic support service
- Community Strengthening through Outreach Events and Special Projects
- STEM/STEAM/STREAM activities and service learning
- Host sites may have additional areas of focus to be discussed at host site interview.
