Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Project Cost Accountant to join our team.

Essential Functions:
- Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard cost and scheduling techniques
- Develops the project cost and schedule control baselines
- Analyzes, evaluates and forecasts project cost and variances during project execution
- Maintains project cost records, schedules and forecasts for the total project
- Prepares and maintains an accurate current budget and CPM schedule by properly utilizing accurate data
- Forecasts, analyzes and reports project status
- Investigates causes of variance between estimated, committed and actual amounts and recommends solutions or recovery plan
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Confirms close out requirements, prepares Project Controls close-out procedures and close-out report
- Interfaces and coordinates with internal and external clients as required for successful project execution
- Prepares financial statements
- Determines schedule and cost trend variations and informs project management of potential problem areas and recommends solutions or recovery plans
- Measures, reports, and analyzes engineering progress using an earned value basis
- Reconciles sub ledger to general ledger account balances
- Prepares Project Management Reporting and assists in Project Review
- Develops cost reporting format as required by internal and client requirements
- Continuously practices Quality Control while executing the work
- Actively promotes and personally observes all company, client, and regulatory HSSE procedures
Experience Preferred:
- Eight (8) years
- Engineering firm
- Payroll/Accounting experience
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
