Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Design Supervisor - Civil/Structural to lead our Nassau Bay team.
Position Type: FT
Location: Nassau Bay office
Work Environment: Office/Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required
Responsibilities include:
- Supervises and mentors staff.
- Maintains a competent staff of drafters, designers, and checkers capable of working on multi-disciplined projects.
- Responsible for orienting all new employees of the drafting resource group.
- Ensures employees within drafting are properly trained on required software.
- Responsible for evaluating all employees of drafting.
- Responsible for salary administration for all drafting resources.
- Responsible for assigning work and staffing projects with drafting resources.
- Monitors drafting progress for all projects.
- Audits drawings on a regular basis for completeness and adherence to standards.
- Ensures all drawings are properly checked.
- Schedules "Lunch and Learns" to further educate those within Drafting.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 15 years working experience
- Previous personnel management experience
- Previous project schedule and budget management experience.
- Field experience, able to walk down project per the client scope.
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
- Attention to detail
Preferred:
- Associates degree
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
