Role Description The Title Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA, responsible for managing vehicle title documentation and supporting smooth private-party transactions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and processing title paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, dealers, and credit unions. The role involves verifying ownership details, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and preparing documents for lien release and title transfer. The Title Clerk collaborates closely with customer support and operations teams to answer title-related questions, provide clear guidance, and help customers complete their transactions efficiently. This position requires careful attention to detail, strong documentation practices, and consistent adherence to KeySavvy’s standards for accuracy and security.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of vehicle titling, registration, and lien processes; prior dealership, DMV, escrow, or financial services experience is beneficial.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to explain title processes clearly and professionally.
  • Experience with Notary services and Escrow-related procedures or similar document verification and closing processes.

  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when reviewing legal documents and data.
  • Proficiency with office software and digital document management systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive customer information and financial details.
  • Foundational Accounting skills or experience handling payments, reconciliations, and transaction records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in automotive title work, notary, or accounting is a plus.
