Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic office skills including but not limited to personal computer, 10 key and multi-line phone
Must be able to pass the Department of Licensing Title Clerk Exam within a year
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, multi-line phone, calculator, ten key, and other basic office equipment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
There are frequent employee and customer contacts and interruptions in person and the telephone during work hours
This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out the policies and procedures of the State of Washington Department of Licensing, Department of Revenue and Ballard Licensing while also providing a high level of customer service
The ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations is essential
The ability to use sound judgment when faced with complex circumstances is necessary
Requires the ability to read, write, communicate and interpret accurately in English
Spanish as a second language is an asset
