Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and leadcreative, recreational, and educational activities that support wellness and social connection.
- Serve as the primary contact for participants, volunteers, and community partners.
- Provide friendly, bilingual support (English/Spanish) to participants.
- Coordinate logistics for classes, events, and transportation.
- Promote programs through outreach and digital/print communications.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Typical Day:
- Set up the space for the day’s activities and meal service
- Welcome participants as they arrive, assist with sign-in, and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere
- Lead or facilitate a scheduled activity (e.g., craft activity, game, or health education session)
- Support meal service by coordinating with kitchen staff and assisting participants as needed
- Engage with participants one-on-one to build relationships and identify needs or interests
- Communicate in Spanish and English to ensure all participants feel included and supported
- Coordinate with volunteers, providing guidance and support throughout the day
- Handle phone calls, participant questions, and scheduling needs
- Document attendance, activities, and any notable events
- Clean up and reset the space, ensuring it is safe and ready for the next day
High school diploma and 1 year of experience working with at risk and/or vulnerable populations in a professional setting required.
Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in Spanish and English.
Associate degree in human services, social work, recreation, gerontology, or a related field preferred.
