Responsibilities include overseeing the development and administration of the childcare department; leading program design, implementation, evaluation, and promotion; and ensuring effective staff scheduling, training, and supervision. Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Human Development or Child Related Field Preferred.
- Five years of experience in the field or a related field. Some director level experience preferred.
- Must be able to meet and maintain WI State Licensing requirement of childcare administrator.
- Must maintain registry level 14 or above.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, the core values of the YMCA and joy in working with youth of all ages.
- Demonstrated success in program development, program management, and administration.
- Knowledge of and skill in the application of the recognized theories, practices, and techniques associated with licensed childcare.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Background check cannot contain offenses restricted by law.
- Proven fiscal responsibility and budgeting ability.
- CPR and AED certification required.
Salary : $53,000 - $60,000
