Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical services provided to clients receiving services from adult outpatient team, medical case management and SUPR teams
- Oversee all operations for Behavioral Health outpatient intake and assessment assuring this function responds to requests for services in an efficient, responsive manner and within established guidelines.
- Oversee implementation of policy and procedures created by leadership team
- Oversee all documentation and data collection required for adult outpatient and SUPR programs
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Outpatient team and SUPR Managers and set written performance and project goals; regularly monitor and evaluate achievement toward those goals
- Establish and implement annual service goals, objectives and strategies for achievement of Adult Outpatient and SUPR service teams
- Work collaboratively with other Deputy Directors both within Division and cross division to ensure coordination of care for clients
- Support development and expansion of outpatient Behavioral Health Services and SUPR services
- Regularly monitor and maintain sufficient and balanced service capacity to meet demand
- Evaluate and respond to program staffing needs and staff selection by directing managers in job description development, interviewing, hiring, and orientation
- Conduct regular planning, evaluation and operational meetings with program managers
- Facilitate communication of all pertinent information generated from Leadership and other meetings to program staff on a timely basis
- Ensure that all clinical activities performed by program staff are consistent with published standards, policies and procedures of the organization
- Identify training and development needs of program staff and participate in development of program training activities
- Represent KYC as a participant in funder/provider networks, committees and planning groups in the community
- Participate in Department budget process actively monitoring that teams are meeting revenue targets
- Understand clinical services and programs and provide backup to managers and supervisory staff, as needed
- Participate in program planning, service coordination, practice development, as a member of the Program Director Team, Continuous Quality Improvement Committee and Program Services Committee
- Receive administrative input from Director of Outpatient Services and provide feedback regarding clinical and administrative issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Masters or doctorate degree from an accredited university in psychology, social work or related discipline
- Licensed to practice independently in the State of Illinois; meet LPHA guidelines in IL Rule 132/140 Administrative Code
- Minimum of five years experience demonstrating the ability to provide clinical services in a community mental/behavioral health or co-occurring substance use/physical disabilities setting
- Preferred five years’ experience providing post masters clinical supervision
- Preferred at least 2 years experience providing administrative leadership including development, day-to-day operations, and compliance oversight for a clinical service program
- Full Time, Exempt, 37.5 hours per week
- Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served, including evenings and weekends
