What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Commercial position at Kennedy Bond?
Head of Commercial
Boston, MA (Wednesday - Friday onsite)
We are partnering with an early-stage, venture-backed healthcare company on the search for a Head of Commercial to build and lead a next-generation commercialization strategy at the intersection of preventative health, cardiometabolic care, digital health, and consumer engagement.
This is a highly strategic, highly visible leadership role focused on building a modern, consumer-centric commercial model within cardiovascular disease prevention. The opportunity sits at the convergence of biotech, health tech, AI-driven risk prediction, and direct-to-consumer healthcare engagement.
Key Areas of Focus:
• Defining the commercial strategy and go-to-market vision for a first-of-its-kind preventative health platform
• Building consumer engagement and DTC infrastructure from the ground up
• Developing strategic partnerships across digital health, telehealth, wellness, and broader healthcare ecosystems
• Helping shape the long-term commercialization model for an innovative preventative cardiometabolic therapeutic platform
• Recruiting and building the foundational commercial organization
Ideal Profile:
• Commercial leadership experience within biotech, pharma, digital health, consumer healthcare, or health tech
• Experience scaling consumer-facing healthcare or wellness platforms with sustained engagement
• Exposure to non-traditional healthcare commercialization and DTC models
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, preventative health adoption, and engagement strategy
• Comfort operating both strategically and hands-on within a highly collaborative early-stage environment
This is not a traditional commercial role. The team is looking for a builder - someone excited by category creation, modern healthcare delivery models, and the opportunity to help shape the future of preventative health.
