Job Summary: We are seeking a talented HVAC Controls Technician to join our team in Arizona. This full-time position involves installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls in commercial and industrial facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and performance of HVAC control systems.

- Install and configure HVAC controls, including sensors, actuators, thermostats, and building automation systems.
- Program and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC control systems.
- Identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for system installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Document work performed, including service reports, programming changes, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards while conducting fieldwork.
- Programming BAS/Controls systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification in HVAC, electronics, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, or similar position, i.e. electrician
- Proven experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems (e.g., Johnson Controls, Verasys, Metasys, Honeywell, Alerton, LCBS).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and control components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in HVAC control systems.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to local job sites.
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other HVAC communication protocols.
- Experience with energy management systems and optimization.
- Industry certifications such as EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent.
- Hourly Rate: Up to $45/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
