Work Hours Required: 9am - 6pm PST
Contract Duration: Until 12/31/2026
Contract Type: W2 through staffing supplier
Pay Rate: $27.33/hour

Job Summary
The Planning Clerk supports the NPI Planning team and post‑PRQ SSD build execution through accurate data entry, reporting, purchase order (PO) management, and coordination of post‑PRQ build requests. This role interfaces with multiple cross‑functional teams to ensure build requests are accurate, complete, and executed correctly, supporting organizational goals and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
NPI Planning & Administrative Support
- Perform data entry and data maintenance across planning tools and systems
- Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports to support NPI planning activities
- Execute report uploads and validate data accuracy and completeness
- Create, track, and maintain purchase orders; follow up on status as needed
- Support process documentation, work instructions, and planning workflows
Post‑PRQ SSD Build Management
- Manage and coordinate post‑PRQ SSD build requests
- Review incoming post‑PRQ build requests for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with required information
- Communicate with multiple teams (Planning, PMT, Engineering, ODMs, Operations) to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to correct errors and ensure build requests are ready for execution
- Track post‑PRQ build status and support issue resolution as needed
- Ensure consistent communication and documentation throughout the post‑PRQ build process
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or missing information
- Ability to manage multiple requests and work across teams with competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a process‑driven, operations‑focused environment
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4 years of relevant experience in planning, operations, supply chain, or administrative support roles
Optional (Recommended) Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NPI, post‑PRQ, or manufacturing builds
- Strong Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Experience working with PMTs, ODMs, or enterprise systems (SAP, Ariba, Windchill, Power BI)
