Key Details:
- Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026
- One round, virtual interview
- Required technical assessment (approx. 40 minutes) must be completed before submission
- Define, manage, and onboard applications to the Akamai platform
- Optimize CDN performance and traffic routing for speed and reliability
- Support web security and edge protection efforts, including firewall and bot protection work
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot platform issues and maintain uptime
- Stay current on Akamai platform updates and best practices
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with the Akamai platform specifically
- Experience with CDN and traffic optimization
- Strong web security and edge protection skills
- Akamai-specific certifications
- Comfortable doing hands-on platform configuration work directly, not overseeing vendors from a distance
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on platform stability, security, and performance
- Reliable and collaborative given the hybrid, cross-team nature of the work
- Able to troubleshoot platform issues independently and communicate status clearly
- Location: Fort Worth, TX
- hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday, remote Monday and Friday
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $51.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
