Our client is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer to join their team! This position is remote.
Duties:
- Design and implement the foundational technical patterns for user-journey observability
- Design and implement how services across GCP microservices are instrumented and monitored
- Design and implement how operational data flows into tools like BigQuery
- Design and implement reusable engineering standards that teams will adopt as they modernize 120 additional applications
- 7 years of full-stack or platform engineering experience
- Strong experience with distributed systems or microservices
- Hands-on cloud experience, GCP strongly preferred
- Experience implementing observability such as: metrics, logs, tracing, SLOs/SLIs
- Experience moving data into analytical stores such as: BigQuery, data lakes, log pipelines
- Ability to influence technical direction and guide architectural patterns
- Comfort working in highly collaborative teams and ambiguous, greenfield environments
- Experience building tooling, services, or frameworks that support reliability or operational insights

Salary : $190,000 - $200,000
