Duties
- Provides guidance and direction to employees and managers regarding company HR policies and procedures that champions the company’s vision, values and culture
- Provides front-line support in the prevention and resolution of employee questions or concerns
- Recommends effective solutions and takes appropriate actions to address workplace concerns, and escalates as applicable to Employee Relations Managers for further investigation
- Supports business partners on employee inquiries by interpreting policies and providing consistent practices
- Creates and implements internal team procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimizations
- Maintains accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee records and metrics
- Collaborates with other centers of excellence such as Employee Relations, Benefits, and Talent Development
- Consults and builds relationships with all levels of operational management and HR team members
- Exercises sound judgment and expertise within broadly defined policies and practices
- 3 years of experience consulting on human resources policies and processes with employees and managers
- Prior experience as an HR Generalist
- Prior Employee Relations in performance management, coaching, employee/manager guidance, workplace accommodations experience ideal
- Prior experience in a centralized HR department or shared services organization preferred
- Experience with case management systems and Workday preferred
- Ability to manage a high volume of employee cases
- Experience applying company policies and procedures
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
