Cloud Operations Manager

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager to join their team! This position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Duties

• Develop long-term cloud strategies aligned with business goals, including migration and innovation roadmaps
• Mentor and guide cloud operations teams toward technical excellence
• Implement IaC practices using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Enforce security protocols and regulatory standards such as: GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2
• Ensure 24/7 system availability through proactive monitoring and incident response
• Enhance application performance for low latency and high availability
• Monitor cloud spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities
• Align cloud operations with cross-functional business objectives
• Coordinate with AWS and third-party vendors to optimize service delivery
• Manage all aspects of Cloud operations, not just 1 level of development

• 5 years of experience managing teams
• Experience with people management and technical management
• Process-oriented
• Ability to guide teams on cloud ops technical expertise
• Experience leading large teams
• Ability to view operations proactive wholistically versus reacting to small details

The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
