Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager to join their team! This position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Duties:
- Develop long-term cloud strategies aligned with business goals, including migration and innovation roadmaps
- Mentor and guide cloud operations teams toward technical excellence
- Implement IaC practices using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Enforce security protocols and regulatory standards such as: GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2
- Ensure 24/7 system availability through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Enhance application performance for low latency and high availability
- Monitor cloud spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Identify and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities
- Align cloud operations with cross-functional business objectives
- Coordinate with AWS and third-party vendors to optimize service delivery
- Manage all aspects of Cloud operations, not just 1 level of development
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 5 years of experience managing teams
- Experience with people management and technical management
- Process-oriented
- Ability to guide teams on cloud ops technical expertise
- Experience leading large teams
- Ability to view operations proactive wholistically versus reacting to small details

The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
