QA Lab Tech & Inspectors- 12 hour Rotating Shift

Kelly is seeking QA Lab Tech and QA Inspectors to join our team in Roanoke, TX. area at a Brand new facility! Must have 1 year of lab experience in manufacturing & stable work history!

Shift: Dupont Schedule- 12 hour rotating shift, rotating between days/7am-7pm & nights 7pm-7am

Pay Rate

QA Lab Tech- $26.00 per hour/Temp to Hire

QA Inspector- $22.00 hour/Temp to hire

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory analytical equipment including some combination of ICP, LECO, optical microscopes, dimensional analysis and magnetometry.
• Operate advanced characterization equipment and perform data analysis (XRD, XRF, SEM).
• Review and record analytical results in LIMS/database. Support testing method development, assessment, validation, and roll-out under guidance of the Quality team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation. Assist in tracking and maintaining the chemical inventory. Perform lab housekeeping and routine inspections.
• Perform routine statistical analysis (SQC) on quality data. Participating in Gage R&R and other measurement system assessments.
• Actively participate in Kaizen events, safety programs, and adhere to all appropriate laboratory safety and operations procedure
  
  

Requirements:

• Aptitude and experience with chemical testing techniques and instrumentation.
• Associates degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or other relevant work experience
• Familiarity with computers, data entry, and analysis.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in IATF 16949 compliant manufacturing environments a plus
• Experience with chemical test methods and material characterization of rare earth materials a plus
