HR Generalist – Manufacturing | Employee Relations Focus
Location: Plymouth, MA
6-month contract assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)
Pay: $32–$38/hour
Are you an experienced HR Generalist with a background in manufacturing and a passion for employee relations? We're seeking a hands-on HR professional to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll partner closely with leaders and employees to support critical HR operations.

Are you an experienced HR Generalist with a background in manufacturing and a passion for employee relations? We're seeking a hands-on HR professional to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll partner closely with leaders and employees to support critical HR operations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct workplace investigations while maintaining thorough documentation and confidentiality.
- Manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and Massachusetts PFML, in partnership with a third-party leave administrator.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and safety initiatives.
- Support OSHA compliance and assist with workplace safety programs.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, onboarding, and pre-employment processes.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records (Workday experience is a plus).
- Partner with managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and employment law compliance.
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
- Manufacturing HR experience required
- Strong background in employee relations, including investigations and coaching managers
- Experience administering FMLA, ADA, and state leave programs
- Knowledge of workers' compensation and workplace safety processes
- Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding activities
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws
- HRIS experience required
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
