What’s a typical day as HR Coordinator/Attendance Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Administering the National Attendance Program, FMLA, medical leave of absence, and tardiness program in accordance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Developing advanced knowledge of contract language for attendance and discipline processes while creating daily attendance reports.
  • Holding daily attendance meetings with employees and union representation, and acting as a liaison between line management and local medical departments.

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You

  • Have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred) and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Have experience working with unions in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating leadership behaviors and conflict leadership skills.
