- Administering the National Attendance Program, FMLA, medical leave of absence, and tardiness program in accordance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Developing advanced knowledge of contract language for attendance and discipline processes while creating daily attendance reports.
- Holding daily attendance meetings with employees and union representation, and acting as a liaison between line management and local medical departments.
- Have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred) and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Have experience working with unions in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating leadership behaviors and conflict leadership skills.
