Forklift Operator – Warehouse/Material Handling
Location: Granite City, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator with strong experience in forklift operation, as well as order pulling and staging. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are accurately moved, staged, and prepared for shipment in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Pull and stage orders accurately based on work orders and shipping schedules
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and proper placement
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated staging and storage areas
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including pallet handling and material transfers
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Required Experience & Skills
- Prior forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Strong background in order pulling, staging, and/or material handling
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and speed
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
- Standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
