Entry Level Procurement Specialist

Position: Entry-Level Purchasing Support (MRO)

Pay Rate: $19–$20/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Minimum 90 days

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist our purchasing team with entry-level tasks related to Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in supply chain and procurement by supporting day-to-day purchasing activities on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and issue purchase orders for MRO materials
• Confirm pricing and delivery details with suppliers
• Track and follow up on open orders; expedite materials as needed
• Resolve basic order issues such as late deliveries or quantity discrepancies
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation
• Communicate order status and updates to internal stakeholders
• Escalate unresolved issues to management as appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous purchasing or administrative experience is helpful but not required
