Position Details
- Remote position with equipment pickup and occasional office visits required at Port Washington (must be within 1-hour commute)
- English Pay: $17.50/hr | French Bilingual Pay: $20.00/hr
- Contract: Temporary
- Must pass: Internet speed test (speedtest.net), prescreen questions, and background screening
- Answer incoming calls and process customer orders
- Resolve customer concerns and troubleshoot technical issues, especially related to electrical/equipment support
- Document and track customer interactions
- Follow up regarding order status, shipping, and availability
- Maintain high service standards and strong communication skills (phone & email)
- Work with Luxottica products and services
- High school diploma required
- 1 year customer service, hospitality, or call center experience
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Strong communicator (verbal & written), excellent listener
- Tech-savvy with solid computer skills (MS Office; Word & Excel; able to navigate web-based tools)
- Comfortable with troubleshooting steps; IT/help desk or technical support experience is a plus
- Team player with strong time management skills
- Experience with SAP
- Optical industry background
- Bilingual French speakers encouraged to apply!
- Important:
- Equipment pickup required at Port Washington office (2 visits)
- Not practical for candidates living more than 1 hour from the site
- Selected candidates must complete screenings and provide internet speed test results
