Administrative Assistant / Accounting ClerkHauppauge New York – OnsitePay open to discussion - $50-60k per yearGreat BenefitsDirect Hire Position ObjectiveWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Accounting Assistant to support administrative, accounting, and office operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across company procedures. Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesBasic Accounting SupportRecord general ledger and primary bookkeeping entriesManage, verify, and archive sales and purchase invoicesCheck and record shipping documents (DDT) and ensure proper alignment with invoicesFinancial & Fiscal SupportMonitor customer and supplier payment deadlinesAssist with bank transaction reviews and payment preparationSupport periodic tax-related activities (e.g., VAT settlements and payments)Office & Document ManagementOrganize and archive administrative documentation in both digital and paper formatsManage inbound and outbound correspondence (email, mail, certified email/PEC)Support calendar management and meeting coordination as neededOperational & Administrative SupportPrepare basic administrative documents, reports, and statistical summariesManage office supply inventory and purchasingProvide administrative support for after-sales activities, including service and spare parts Required Skills & QualificationsPrior experience (even minimal) in administrative, clerical, or accounting-related rolesWorking knowledge of general accounting principles and bookkeepingStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience using at least one ERP or management system (company-specific system a plus)High level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong sense of responsibility and reliabilityExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Interviews are happening NOW – send resume to Chrc511@kellyservices.com Company DescriptionKelly helps companies recruit and manage skilled workers and helps job seekers find great work in industries such as accounting and finance, education, engineering, government, manufacturing and production, technology, and more.Since inventing the staffing industry in 1946, we’ve become experts in the many specialties and local and global markets we serve.
