We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative with experience in paper, print, or related industries to grow sales and margin within an assigned territory and account base. This is an opportunity for a relationship-focused, consultative seller who enjoys developing new business while expanding existing customer partnerships. What You’ll Do
Own and grow your territory
- Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to meet or exceed volume and gross margin goals
- Set annual objectives for key accounts and manage performance throughout the year
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within your territory
Build trusted customer relationships
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, paper usage, and growth potential
- Make regular in-person sales calls to existing customers and high-potential prospects
- Partner with customers through joint planning to uncover opportunities for improved service, cost efficiencies, and volume growth
Drive consistent results
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects to support growth above market averages
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and pricing dynamics in the region
- Communicate key wins, challenges, and market insights to the General Manager
Deliver outstanding service
- Investigate and resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Communicate product updates, price changes, availability, and promotions clearly
- Deliver samples and coordinate product support as needed
- Assist with collections efforts on assigned accounts in partnership with the region
Operate with professionalism and discipline
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and system data
- Keep customer files current, including contacts, sales history, and growth opportunities
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time so you can focus on selling
- Stay current on new paper grades, product developments, and sales techniques

- Consistently meeting or exceeding sales and gross margin targets
- Strong customer retention
- A growing book of business across core paper and print-related categories
Who You Are
- A self-motivated outside sales professional who takes ownership of their territory

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3 years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in the paper and/or print industry
- Valid driver’s license
