Kelly Engineering is supporting a leading semiconductor manufacturing client in Boise, ID seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support design and development tied to automation and production systems. This role combines mechanical design with hands-on support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and modify designs using SolidWorks (3D CAD)
- Support tooling and automation-related mechanical systems
- Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Assist with builds, testing, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to design optimization for manufacturability and reliability
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD required)
- Experience in manufacturing, tooling, or automation environments
- Ability to support both design and hands-on production work
