Kelly is hiring a GDMS Lab Analyst for one of our clients in Liverpool, NY

Job Title: GDMS Lab Analyst

Site Location: 103 Commerce Blvd A, Liverpool, NY 13088

Contract Duration: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. on W2

2nd shift Mon-Thurs (10 hour shift) 3:30pm-2:00am

Training potentially on day shift

Job Description:

Entry level. Seeking someone eager to learn, committed and with solid communication and soft skills.

Prep and analyze sample by GDMS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prep and analyze sample by GDMS.

Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

Regular attendance and punctuality

Clean, dry, and store glassware for laboratory use

Dispose of waste solutions

Retrieve washroom acids and solvents

Clean and maintain glassware areas

Learn simple laboratory operations such as media production

Learn and use inventory and ordering system for lab supplies

Assist with receiving and placing lab supplies in proper place

Perform sample preparation

Assist with sample registration as needed

Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

Associate's degree with some lab/wet chemistry experience, or Bachelor's degree with science/lab coursework

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Willingness and ability to work overtime, weekends and occasional holidays
