Our client is seeking a mechanical designer for a temp to perm opportunity in canton, GA. Those with 3 years current CAD Design experience is required. Great company with over 50 years of custom fabrication and engineering serving clients around the U.S.

- The ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements or experience:
- 3 years minimum experience in part/assembly design and drafting, preferably for transportation, mobile, outdoor power equipment, or similar field.
- Associates degree in CADD/drafting/design or mechanical engineering technology or related field. Equivalent job experience will be considered if applicable.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings.
- Experience with metal fabrication processes.
- Experience in bill of material creation and maintenance. PDM or ERP a plus
- Must be proficient with AutoCad 2D CAD software.
- Must be experienced and comfortable working with other Windows based PC software packages such as Excel and Word.
- Must be a self-motivated individual able to work as part of a team effort.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production driven build-to-order environment.
