Job Specifics:
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $28-$30 per hour Annual Bonus
- Perform or assist with maintenance inspection routes, monitor equipment, and record data.
- Perform or assist with maintenance tasks on electrical infrastructure equipment.
- Assist with operations on large equipment (generators, switchgear) once trained.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies (Lock-Out-Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned workspaces and equipment.
- Assist with maintaining parts and consumables inventories.
- Meet corporate administrative requirements.
- Provide support for facilities maintenance, repair, and infrastructure operations.
- Provide on-call support as required.
- Report equipment deficiencies and alarms.
- High School Diploma or GED, and one of the following:
- 2-year or 4-year degree, or a certificate from a technical or trade school with coursework in electric power, power generation, or industrial operations.
- Military or merchant marine experience in power distribution, generation, or industrial facilities operations.
- 2 years of experience as an industrial Facilities Technician or Facilities Engineer.
- A combination of schooling and training that satisfies the above criteria.
- Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time constraints.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to learn the use of hoists, measuring tools, and man lifts.
- Familiarity with industrial lift truck operations and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Ability to travel and work remotely as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to distinguish colors and hear alarm signals.
