Bus Driver - Multiple Positions Available
Hours: 25-35 Hours Per Week
Days/Times: TBD - May Vary as Needed
Qualifications/Training/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule.
- Valid CDL w/ bus driver endorsement - may include driving district van when needed.
- Medical certificate, DOT and skills test as required by the State of Michigan.
- Good driving record.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community.
- Knowledge and awareness of one's own cultural identity and how this influences behavior and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.
- Ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and patrons of the District.
- Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage.
